玉雪絣

備後絣の古典柄、“雪ん子”をシックな現代風に織り上げた絣です。
タテ糸を藍染、ヨコ糸は柿渋染で染めるという、手間ひま掛かった木綿生地。
見る角度によって、茶色が濃く見えたり藍色が濃く見えたりするのも特徴です。
ネップの凹凸感もしっかりある肌触りの良い風合いです。

備後節織は日本三大絣の一つでもある備後絣から派生した風合い豊な広幅織物です。
すべて先染め（糸染め）で藍染や草木染、墨染の天然染料を使用し、職人の手によって染められています。

現在でも旧式のシャトル織機でゆっくり丁寧に作られていて、1日に最大でも30m程しか織ることができません。
その為、決して大量生産のできない非常に貴重な素材です。

Tamayuki-Kasuri (snow dye-patterning)
A dye-pattern which the classical pattern of Bingo-kasuri,
Yukinko (snow child), is woven in modern and chic texture.
It is a cotton fabric which the crafts man spend his time
and effort by dying wrap in indigo and weft in persimmon color.
One characteristic is that the brown looks deeper or the indigo looks deeper, depending on the angle you look at it.
Texture has pleasantness to the touch, with firm embossed feeling of nep.

Washing methods
Since it slightly get discolored due to the friction of the water, please do not rinse it with others materials. Please shape the fabric up when drying.

Note:It will be sold at 10cm unit(1m=0.1yd).
ex. If you select 1 from pulldown menu, It's 10 cm long. Select 10, it's 1m long.
